Thought

A zero to 1 moment is when you go from nothing to something, from a dream to reality.

Men dreamed of flying for centuries. It was thought to be impossible, until someone showed it wasn’t. The first time a plane flew, the world changed forever.

The same thing happens in your life. The moment you stop imagining some act and do it for real is the same moment you go from zero to 1.

I never knew how to throw a punch until I took a kickboxing class and started learning.

A few months ago I got a crazy idea: start making money online. It was just a crazy idea until I made my first dollar on the Internet. Now it’s reality.

There is so much opportunity for he who will reach out and grasp it.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet mustered the courage to do? Go do it.

Once you show yourself it’s possible, the world will never look the same.

Tactic

A guys’ trip is underrated. I traveled with my friend to Rome and neither of us could remember laughing so much.

Men need to spend time in the company of other men. Shoot the breeze, workout together, crack jokes, discuss life & business and simply be dudes.

There’s a paucity of male fellowship in the modern world.

I’m planning a men’s retreat later this year with a friend of mine. The plan is a weekend in October in Sedona, AZ. The focus will be on clarity, confidence and connection. There will be 10 spots available for men who truly want to level up and build brotherhood.

I was slow to adopt the Kindle. I was a print copy snob, but I recently decided to give one a try and wow, favorite purchase in the last year.

Easier to read than a book, an entire library that you can bring with you anywhere. Also, a dedicated reading device is a focus hack.

Travel

I came across this random statue in a courtyard while traversing Milan, Italy. The statue game is on another level out here.
