Kill Neediness
How to live in abundance
Thought
If you ask someone what the opposite of neediness is, they’ll likely say independence, but that’s not exactly right.
Being independent does indeed mean you don’t need anything, but the true opposite of neediness is abundance.
Not only do you not need anything but you even have a surplus to give.
You can think of neediness like matter, independence as space and abundance as antimatter.
Space is what’s left when there’s an absence of matter, but matter and antimatter can’t coexist at all.
Are you following me?
My point is that abundance destroys neediness.
Neediness = deleted.
Too many men today live in scarcity mode, and, because of this, they are needy.
Neediness warps a man’s behavior. He will often come across as “pathetic” or “creepy.”
This is not the way.
I believe abundance is a mindset.
Put simply, it’s the belief that your next best opportunity is always right around the corner.
When you think in this way, nothing can fuck with you. Your entire life can go up in flames and you know with certainty that you’ll make it through, come out the other side the stronger for it and build something even better.
With that said, I think someone simply telling you to start thinking this way isn’t helpful.
So, what are the practical moves you can make to shift into abundance mode?
It all starts with accumulating wins.
These wins can be minuscule in the beginning.
When I detoxed off heroin, I was in poor condition. Even walking 50 paces was a struggle at first. Then, I could do 100 paces. I kept progressing steadily. On a recent hike, I went 17 miles in one day.
You have to start where you’re at.
It’s not so important where you are starting from as much as are you improving every day. Improve 1% every day for a year and you’ll be shocked at who you can become.
As the wins stack, they compound and before you know it, you’ve developed the supreme superpower all men covet:
Confidence.
Abundance and confidence are twin sisters who live together.
Get to know one and you can’t help but encounter the other.

We're responsible for everything around us today.
But responsibility is also the power to better things.
So stand up and make this world better.
