Bring It On
The proper way to face life
Thought
Sometimes you have to say fuck it and change everything.
That’s exactly what I did a couple months ago. I left my home of 10 years and struck out to find my fortune.
I moved somewhere where I knew almost no one. Some may call me crazy, but if you’ve been following me for a while, you know the words I live by:
Fortune favors the bold.
If you wait for life to choose for you, I promise you won’t be satisfied with what you get.
Life is for the taking and he who dares, wins.
With that said, changing everything overnight does introduce a certain amount of chaos.
You see, I also stopped ghostwriting and then went to Colombia a few weeks after moving, and more...
I dialed up the dynamism to 11.
It’s a moment where I wake up each day and I have no idea what’s going to happen next.
It’s thrilling and also a bit overwhelming.
But it reminds me other chaotic moments in my life, which leads me into the point of this Thought.
Life isn’t about avoiding the storms.
The storms are guaranteed. Suffering is promised.
So, if we can’t avoid them, what are we supposed to do with them?
Learn to welcome them.
Learn to ride them.
Learn to say, “Bring it on.”
If the experience doesn’t break you, then it can only build you.
Your suffering is a gift from God.
It’s the flames in which you will be forged.
Life is the hardest thing there is.
WIN ANYWAY.
Men are born for the struggle with reality.
Life isn’t the happy moments.
Life is the hardships.
The hardships set you up for the Victory.
You cant have one without the other.
Embrace the struggle.
Become the Winner.
Tactic
One man has a miserable existence.
The other lives a blessed life.
What separates one from the other?
His standards.
Most men won’t admit this to themselves, but the harsh reality is this:
You get the exact life you tolerate.
There’s two parts to the equation though. The first is the standards you set, the second is meriting those standards.
The guy sitting on his mom’s couch eating potato chips says, “I’ll only date a supermodel.”
Give me a break bro.
So, where to begin?
Start with respect.
Start by conducting yourself in such a way that you command respect.
Once you merit respect, don’t brook disrespect from others.
Master this and then apply this pattern to other areas and watch your life upgrade itself before your very eyes.
Simple.

Seriously bro, quit crying about how hard it is.
No one cares.
Even if they do, it won't solve a single thing for you.
Your problems are yours and yours alone.
If it can be solved, solve it.
If not, endure.
