3 Beliefs Of The Superior Man

How to wield your mind

Thought

It all begins in your mind.

Your mind is like a hunter: the things you focus it on become your reality.

This is a double-edged sword. A powerful, beneficial force when wielded properly, but can cut you if misdirected.

You see, you can apply focus to things that will make your life worse.

An example of a mindset anti-pattern:

Worrying.

What is a worry anyway? It’s a prayer for what you don’t want to happen.

At best, it never happens and you make yourself suffer needlessly.

At worst, you call the thing to you.

Worrying is worse than useless, it’s harmful.

Don’t do it.

So, with an example of how to misuse it out of the way, let’s cover some mindsets to stengthen you:

1. B.I.C.

I want you to develop a mindset “disorder.”

We’ll call it Borderline Irrational Confidence.

I want you to believe so strongly in your ability to pull shit off that people almost think you’re crazy.

All greatness stems from an unshakeable belief in yourself.

2. Eternal Optimism

Pessimism is for losers.

True kings are Eternal Optimists.

You must always believe this:

Tomorrow, you’ll wake up with a fresh opportunity to achieve excellence.

This will be the best day of your entire life.

Treat every sunrise as such.

3. Fated

Everything.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

All of it conspires to guide you further into your destiny.

The entire universe serves you in your mission.

Every setback prepares you for a bigger comeback.

You are fated for greatness and nothing will keep you from it.

Tactic

Having a powerful mindset is important, but if you don’t back it up with an even stronger practice, then you’ll become delusional over time.

A confident man with no results is a fool.

It all begins in the mind, but it ends in the action.

We all have to start where we’re at.

Let’s zero in on setting ambitious yet realistic goals for yourself.

If you’re out of shape, it’s unrealistic to think you could get up and run a marathon right now.

You’ll try and be immediately discouraged by the gap between reality and goal.

The sweet spot is to set a goal that is slightly beyond what you think you can do.

Set a goal that makes you nervous but doesn’t seem impossible.

In this way, the results and the mindsets play into and amplify each other.
